St David's Day in London
Join in the celebration of all things Welsh on 1 March 2010. The patron of Wales - St. David was a monk who wandered around Wales, spreading knowledge and doing holy deeds. He died on 1 March and that is when everybody celebrates his life and works. People wear a daffodil or leek on this day as both are traditional symbols of Wales.
Last year, the first True Taste Welsh festival was held in London and it is expected to return in 2010 again. With tasty food, refreshments and the best produce from Wales, you will be in for a real treat.
Don’t miss the opportunity to celebrate this day and try something truly welsh while visiting London.
